Gang …
This page is where you will find all of the resources (handouts, recordings and other goodies!), by week, that we discuss on the webinars. If you can’t find what you are looking for then comment below or send us an e-mail. Know that it will take a couple of days to post everything but we will do it as fast as we can!
Week 2 Marriage Matters Webinar – Communications Skills
WOW! We can’t believe how fast each week comes around but it did and what a treat it was to be with you all again. Our subject this week was “communication skills”! What an important key this subject is to the success and health of every marriage. We could easily have done 3 hours of stuff about communication but in just 30 minutes you will find some great tips from Christie and her counseling background and then four communications warning signs from Jim to help us all see the danger signs before we get too deep in them.
Your homework for this week was to make a list of ten things about your spouse that you love, take some one on one time to share that list with them and then post them in the comments section of the blog at www.jacobus1010.wordpress.com, or on the Facebook fan page at Ten Ten Ministries – Marriage Matters. Take the time to do this homework … we promise it will bless you!

The “Marriage Matters” Webinar Series Week 1 Is In the Books!
Praise God we finally were able to kick off this series. Gang, we have 48 people registered for the webinar series and are praying that God would lead many more to join us! We would certainly encourage you to pass it on to couples, Sunday School classes, Home Teams, marriage ministries, men’s groups, women’s groups or even entire church bodies (you get the idea) that you think would benefit from these sessions. Just cut and paste this link http://wp.me/Pvrj6-2r into an e-mail and pass it along! We would appreciate it!

I truly feel that I already have an abundant life, but even abundant can be enriched. So below are items I feel would provide that enrichment:
- Become debt free
- Find a church home and become connected
- Take a vacation with all of our grandchildren, make a lasting memory
- Make daily prayer a habit
- Go to Jackson Hole, Wyoming – a dream come true for my husband
I am sure there will be more, but this is what comes to mind. I may not be able to attend tomorrow night’s session as we will have Emily’s 4 kids here because their AC is out.
some excuse! those are well behaved kids. Throw them in the pool. put Lauren and Courtney in charge.
Bucket List:
1. See an NCAA Men’s Final Four with my nephew. My wife and other family would be welcome as well.
2. Travel to Alaska with family, especially Judith.
3. Travel to South America with family. South America is one of only 2 continents I have not visited and I am not going to Antarctica.
4. Travel to Oregon and Washington states, the only two states I have not visited.
5. Travel to all of the National Parks I have missed.
1 of the 10 – that my husband is taking the time to listen on a Sunday night with me.
Now that is cool!
10 Things:
She is very beautiful and has always taken good care of herself, and it shows (She’s Hot) thank’s Jim
She was created by God just for me.
She has strong faith in our religion
She is a great Mother, spends an extraordinary amount of time with our children’s development
She is smart and intuitive and she is always thinking ahead.
She loves to travel
She enjoys the outdoors (athletic)
She helps me remember things I forget
She has a medicinal touch
#10. Is just for me.
“The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched – they must be felt with the heart.”
